Compassionate, thoughtful and impactful
Having someone to really listen can make all the difference.
Hi, I’m Paul. Before training as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I spent 25 years building businesses and working in senior leadership roles. I know the world of ambition, achievement and responsibility from the inside — and I've also experienced the value of having someone outside that world help me think more clearly about the questions that matter.
That experience was part of what led me to psychotherapy. I became increasingly interested in what sits beneath the decisions we make, the patterns we repeat and the expectations we place on ourselves. I believe that providing a safe space to talk creates the opportunity to heal and grow. Sometimes this may mean exploring what is happening in your life now or looking at how experiences from the past continue to affect the present.
I now combine my professional experience with my clinical training and practice, working with people who are trying to make sense of change, achievement, loss and what they want from the next stage of their lives.
People have more of the answers than they think. My role is to listen carefully, ask a different question and help you find new perspectives.
